How the Pass Guarantee works
Complete the Program: You need to complete all the practice tests for your state (CAR, CDL, or Motorcycle) with a passing probability of at least 80%.
Fail the Official Test: If you don’t pass your official DMV written permit test within 30 days of purchasing your Premium Membership, you can apply for a refund.
Claim the Guarantee: To request a refund, submit this form with some details, like your full name (must match the name on your Premium account), the email address you used for your purchase, and proof that you failed the official test (e.g., a receipt or official confirmation from the DMV). We’ll check your account to confirm that you completed the required practice tests and met the conditions. If everything is correct, we’ll issue a full refund directly (Android/Google Play) or guide you through the steps to request the refund from the platform (Apple).
Terms & Conditions
By using the Pass Guarantee, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility:
You must complete all practice tests in one of our DMV Genie apps (iOS/Android) for your selected test type (CAR, CDL, or Motorcycle) with at least an 80% probability of passing before your official test date.
The Pass Guarantee only applies to the first failed test within 30 days of your Premium Membership purchase.
Proof of Failure:
You must provide official proof that you failed the test, such as a receipt or other documentation from the DMV. Unofficial documents will not be accepted.
Refund Process:
For iOS users: Apple doesn’t allow developers to issue refunds directly. Refunds for iOS users will be issued by Apple via their "Request a refund" process.
For Android users: Refunds will be issued directly through the Google Play Store as per their refund process.
Only the person who purchased the Premium Membership and completed the practice tests can claim the refund.
Requesting a Refund:
You must submit your refund request within 30 days of failing the official DMV test.
All refund requests must be sent to us using the email address linked to your Premium account. You may need to respond to follow-up questions so we can verify your eligibility.
Exclusions:
The Pass Guarantee does not apply if you retake the test without completing the practice tests again. Refunds are limited to one per customer/account. If you retake and pass the test, the guarantee no longer applies.
What happens next?
Once we receive your form submission, we’ll verify your details. If you meet all the terms and conditions, we’ll send you an email confirmation, and your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.
