"Help! My card was charged an extra $1"

Some US banks add additional charges on what they consider international transactions.

Since Driving-Tests.org is headquartered in Ontario, Canada, your bank may have charged you a small amount (usually about $1.56 or so) for processing your purchase (Foreign Currency Conversion). Not all US banks do this, but it is something to be aware of.

This happens because some banking institutions see us as "international merchants" and not domestic one.

There is nothing we can do to stop this, as it is not something we control. Even though on your online banking statement, it may look like that additional fee was charged to your account by us, that is, in fact, your bank's fee and not ours.
